Perks of Being 19

April 8, 2013

Dress: Warehouse| Shoes: Trunk Show| Headpice: c/o Abby

While others are afraid or sad of turning a year older, especially teens, I myself is feeling giddy and excited now that I just turned nineteen. O’ yes, I’m proud the tell the world – at least I got older in the age but not in face. haha 😀

I should say, here are the perks of being 19:

1.  You’re still a “teen”. That’s what you call –  good news! So don’t be sadden by the fact that your a year older because when people ask what your age is or you want to attend all kind of  teenage parties, you can always use the excuse ” yes, I’m still a a teen. 😉 “

2. You are now responsible of yourself. Now is the chance to prove yourself, stand on your own and learn to be responsible of your own acts and decisions. By this, you can earn your parents’ trust and admiration.

3. You can travel miles away. Since your not a kiddo anymore, you can get your parents’ approval to travel places away from home. It’s your time to explore the world with the advantage of still getting support form them. hihi

4.Cherish every teenage moment. It’s your last year of being a teen, remember? Sooner or later you’re an adult already. Time flies so fast, isn’t it? So cherish every moment because someday you’ll just caught yourself laughing out loud in doing such silly things. haha

5.You can discover a whole lot more about yourself.  Instead of doing such immature things everyday of your life, why don’t you use your time to know yourself better? Whether it’s physical, mental, emotional or spiritual. Try to know your strengths and weaknesses. Improve every weak spots so when it’s already time to face and enter the real world you’re already fully equipped.
