Travelove

September 18, 2012

Everyone loves to travel – to have a glimpse on picturesque places, unwind and escape from our daily life routines. But what’s the deeper sense of traveling? In my opinion, visiting places makes us richer not in terms of money (definitely, we accrue expenses for our travel needs) but in terms of gaining knowledge and experience. Of course, when traveling we have agendas aside from just discovering new places you’ve never been before and take photos & buy souvenirs from such particular attractions. More likely, it’s the intention to know even just a brief history & venture on activities which makes the place unique and the experience more exciting. Right? Moreover, a lot of people nowadays are fond of traveling abroad without realizing that they don’t even know much about the interesting places within their country. Just like in the Philippines, all we appreciate is the beauty of  Boracay, Palawan, Cebu and Bohol? How about the remaining 76 other provinces? Definitely they also have remarkable tourist spots to be proud of.  And the role of Filipinos for a richer Philippine Tourism, Tangkilikin ang Sariling Atin. Start visiting places where you have the most access with. Just like what we did last week (I think :P) ,  my family decided to drop by Rizal Shrine in Calamaba, Laguna which houses a lot of historical facts about our National Hero- Jose Rizal. Nah, history seems so boring but when you become knowledgeable enough about it, it’ll make you crave for more stories behind all those so called invaluable-looking paraphernalia.

Too much blabbing.. proceed with the LOTD (haha 😀 )

*Forgive the awkward photos, I was in a hurry. Lots of student out there ‘coz of their tour. haha! ;P

I know, I just wore this dress just a few days ago but would you blame me if it’s too comfortable to wear? 8o| This dress just fits the standards to be worn on a new travel experience. ahah! 😛 Paired it with flipflops for extra comfort. Also wore a Hunger Games-inspired necklace which comes matchy-match with my swallow printed dress. 😉 *It seems that I’m ready to fly. lols. Too bad, I forgot my boater hat in the car </3 which will make an instant turista peg. ( I need your imaginative skills on this part! 😉 )

So where’s your next travel destination? 🙂

Btw, did you know that there’s a Filipino who already made to travel around the Philippines, literally, within 80 provinces?

Such an inspiring deed. 0.0
